The New Zealand Promoters Association is a registered non profit body of like minded entertainment industry personnel who come together to discuss & protect and represent the rights and business of New Zealand Concert Promoters.
The NZPA, which was formerly known as NEOA (New Zealand Entertainment Operators Association) was first incorporated in 1965. NZPA represents the majority of contemporary concert & entertainment promoters in New Zealand.

- To advocate on behalf of the Entertainment Sector and on behalf of member organisations
- To serve as the voice of entertainment interests in NZ
- To stimulate and promote entertainment in NZ for both local and international touring artists
- To extend recognition of the social, cultural and economic benefits the entertainment industry brings to NZ
- To provide exemplary standards in the hosting of all artists both local and international
- To encourage development of high standards for the benefit of the general public
- To support the aspirations and needs of the membership
- To plan and coordinate efforts to improve industry standards in robust financial responsibility, training, compliance, health and safety and the eradication of operators who may bring the industry into disrepute
